Pinning Journey Day 4

Day 4

WAKING UP EARLY
As usual, I woke up early. Trying not to be late. No more other stuffs. After I got out of bed, I went straight to the bathroom. Took a bath, groomed myself, clothed myself, etc.

WENT TO SCHOOL EARLY
The previous days, I always come to school late. Trying to avoid the practice I guess. This time, siguro natakot ako sa idea ng anecdotal report, I went to school as early as 7:30. Took the jeep to Roxas at around 7 to make sure I'll get to school on time. And I did. When I arrived, there were only few people at the covered court. Wala pa nga ang mga C.I.s eh.

LATE ANG MGA C.I.
The court was filling. People started coming from both sides of the court. Pero the C.I's were still missing in action and it's already 8am. The usual time the practice starts. The "Ushers" and "Usherettes" were checking our attendance. I sat with Tines and the others. At around 8:30am, dumating na din ang mga C.I. kasama ang matandang magpa-practice sa amin ng choir songs.

SINGING TILL 10am.
We practiced singing till 10am. A rundown of the songs for the mass during the ceremony. Throughout the session, I felt so sleepy coz the night before I slept at around 3am and woke up 5am. So I only got like 2 hrs of sleep. Besides, the songs were boring. and I don't think me and the other Ateneans needs to practice the songs coz we've stayed in Ateneo for a few years now that we've already memorized the songs (church songs) we're practicing.

RUNDOWN for the PINNING CEREMONY
So after the songs, we were asked to line outside the gym. Same thing. One line for girls and one line for boys. When we got back inside, nagstart na ang rundown. Pati mga speeches and introductions sinali na rin. It was so exhausting and I just really want to sleep.

PLEDGE BLOOPERS
Alright, at the end, we were asked to recite the Nurse's Prayer, Nightingale's Pledge and the Nurse's Hymn. I HAVEN'T MEMORIZED THEM YET! But during the Nurse's Prayer, I lip-synced coz I'm familiar with some words. I wasn't caught so it was OK. But during the Pledge, I got lost with words and Ma'am Saus was in front of me looking. She pointed at me telling the other C.I.s that I didn't memorized the pledge yet. She listed my name on her notebook which means anecdotal report for me. ITS A FUCKING DUTY EXTENSION. I haven't started proper nursing yet I already have a duty extension. FUCK!

HAD LUNCH at G-MALL
After the practice, sumama ako kay Tines kasi may kotse siya. We ate lunch at G-MALL. Sa Spazio Cafe. Chicken Fillet! Ang sarap. :P Tapos Hazelnut Cappucino after. Tapos umuwi na. :P

Pinning Journey Day 3

Day 3

At this point, I really don't want to practice anymore. I really think it's a waste of my time. Hahaha!!! I really find it dumb to be practicing things like that. (lmao)

LATE
I woke up early. Maybe around 6am. The practice starts at 8am, so i thought I still have 2 hours to spare. Went straight to the bathroom. Took a bath. Groomed and clothed myself. At around 7:15am, I took a jeep to school. I don't know why, but the jeep took about 55mins before it got to Roxas. Therefore I conclude, I'm late. AGAIN!

oh no, ABSENT!
When I got off the jeep, I saw Trexia. We went inside the campus together. We were both late. We saw that the practice was starting. Trexia decided we won't join the practice and wait for it to finish at the benches. Thus, I'm not just late, but I'm already absent. I think that means duty extension. (but i have a secret, i don't think they'll give us extensions. hahaha! its just a threat so that we won't be late)

BUMMING AROUND
So while waiting for the practice to finish, me, Trexia and another guy (i actually forgot the name) waited sa may bandang OSA. Yung tambayan kapag nagtatambay lang. Harap ng Jacinto Gym. While there we just listened to the people singing the nursing hymn. We laughed at those who were out-of-tune (mostly guys. You can't blame them. Not everyone has talent on singing). Earl Roldan approached and talked to us. He looks much "brighter" than the last time I saw him. Talagang medyo nag glow si Earl. Nag take siguro ng glutathione. hahaha! So ayun.

At Last! NATAPOS DIN!
At around 11:03am, natapos ang practice. It ended with some announcements. Yun yung hinintay ko kaya nag stay ako dun kahit absent na ako sa practice. Di naman maxadong importante yung announcement. Pero OK lang. Hinanap ko si Nikki para i-ask ko siya about nung Picobello plan nila ni Kakat.

Ayyy. 2pm pa pala yun?!
Sasabay sana ako ke-Nikki, but she has other plans. And we were suppose to meet at 2pm and not 12. So maxado akong bloopers.

MANUNUOD NA LANG NG SINE
Since I was alone pala. I decided to go to SM. Took a jeepney ride from Roxas to SM. When I got there, I went straight to the ATM Machine. I realized I don't have money na pala. So I withdrew Php200. After that, went to buy Hazzlenut Cappucino at ZAGU. Then went to watch NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2
The movie started with Ben Stiller advertising his newly invented glow in the dark flashlight. Man! The dude actually owns his own company. Anyway, the movie was cool, exciting and great. Favorite characters would be Jedediah and Octavius. Their fight scenes with the enemies were hilarious. (lmao) you should not miss this movie.

PRESSURED to go to PICOBELLO(?)
While watching the movie, Kathleen has been texting me where I was. That i need to be there right there and then. Told her I won't go anywhere unless i finish the movie. I finished the movie then took a taxi to Gaisano South Mall where Picobello was located. I actually had no idea that Picobello is on the top floor of the mall.

SCARY HOLLOWED HALLWAY
Alright. I've never been to the top floor of the mall before. I was even wondering if i was at the right place. I kept texting Kakat where they were, that I was already at the top floor. She told me to proceed to the UKAY-UKAY section and enter the hallowed corridor. Tell you. That place was really freaky. Like you'd wonder where it'll lead you. The hall was deserted. Garbage was all of the place. but at the end of that hall was a pretty restaurant named PICOBELLO

PICOBELLO
I was like, what does a beautiful resto doing on a very ugly ugly place? (rhetorical question)
I saw Kakat and Nikki at the table at the left corner. They were waiting. They've already ordered. After a few minutes, Aira came. We talked about a lot of things. From the Capping-Pinning, Hospital Duties, C.I.'s, Futures, etc. After an hour and a half, the food arrived. Finally! I was hungry for i did not take any lunch. I took a slice of pizza. and then another. It was filling. I kinda forgot to take pictures of the food. I can't show you.

WHO'S GONNA PAY FOR IT?!
OK. We got the bill. It was Php290. Aira looked at it and gasped. How could the food be so cheap? With that statement, Nikki, Kakat and I, asked Aira to pay for the food. Besides, mura naman daw eh. Pero of course, di pumayag si Aira. So nagpasa-pasahan na. Pero at the end, si Aira pa rin nagbayad. hahaha!

GIVE ME YOUR SHARES!
After Picobello, we went back to school. Pagdating dun, dun na kami siningil ni Aira sa share ng bayad namin. so ayun. nagbayad na lang din kami. then nagusap usap na lang kami sa school. Mostly about sa bagong love life ni Airading. :D Then uwian na. :D

Pinning Journey Day 2

Day 2

EARLY MORNING
I really hate waking up early. Di na ako sanay. I woke up at around 6am. I wasn't so eager to get up so i stayed on bed watching TV till around 6:30am. At around that time, Ate Liez was knocking on my door para gumising na ako. I started my day by drinking 2 glasses (actually it's a mug) of water.

NEW ROUTINE?
This one's new. I kinda felt the urge to exercise this morning and so I did. I did 5 minutes on our exercising machine (until now I dunno what it is called. It's like a bike with no seats. Please tell me what it is called. I don't wanna be clueless.).

DON'T WANNA GO TO SCHOOL
After that so-called exercise, I went and took a bath. I groomed myself after. While looking at the mirror, i thought I don't wanna go to school. It's just to hassle. Besides, they're just practicing at how to walk the isle. How hard could that be? OK. So I slowed down. I stopped looking at the time. I laid down, watched TV, drank more water and brushed my teeth.

OK. I STILL WENT TO SCHOOL
Well, I even though my mind and my heart wants me to stay at home, i still went to school. This time, I took the Php13- worth Jeepney Ride to Roxas. Alam ko na na male-late ako. Sinadya? Hahaha! Pwede na rin.

LATE
I can still remember the time I got to my seat. 8:40am. I'm 40mins late. But who cares. It's summer. Right? The C.I. checked my attendance and told me to sit at the front. I insisted that i'd sit at the back. Not really comfortable sitting with people I barely know. Well, the C.I. didn't care where I sat. When I turned my head to the left, I saw Jacky, along with the other irregs, sitting beside me. I'm glad.

WTF?! They're singing!!!
Yes. They were singing church songs. Practice for the before-the-ceremony mass. The songs were familiar to me already. They're the same songs from those from my high school days in Ateneo, and siguro until I graduate from college. So medyo, show off na ako. Di na ako nagbabasa nung kopyang binigay nila sa akin. LOL. Atenean gud daw. At the end of the song practice, the instructor uttered a phrase, "Ateneans are not arrogant". I was, WTF?! That's like so hypocritic. I mean. Ateneans???? Not ARROGANT?! Who are they kidding? Hahahaha! I'm an Atenean and I'm proud of it. but come on. Ateneans are, and will always be, ARROGANT. Even Jericho "Echo" Baldonado agrees with me.

IRREG: Joined Forces(?)
After that song practice, we were instructed to form lines outside the gym. One line for the girls and one life for the boys. I was clueless. I don't have a section coz I was on a LOA (Leave of Absence). But since I considered myself Irreg, I went and joined the Irreg people. It was uncomfortable at first. I don't know how to mingle with these people. I tried. Didn't talk much though. But at least I belong. LOL.

HOW TOs:
What were the lines for? Let's see... Hmmmmm
The lines were for practicing on "how" we are going to walk to our perspective seats. After everyone got to their seats, we were taught how to sit together and how to stand together. It has to be synchronized or else, we'd repeat it and repeat it and repeat it until we know how to do it ng sabay. Then when we "perfected" our sitting and standing, the C.I.s taught us how to raise our hands for the pledge. Then taught us the prayer we need to memorize. Then lastly, the hymn we need to sing. After that, we were dismissed. HAPPY MUCH? of course.

SEARCHING FOR REQUIREMENTS
After the dreadful "HOW TO's" we were dismissed. Tine, Me and the rest went to the funda lab aka Nursing Division to check on the requirements. I listed the required books on my cellphone. Tine brought her ever loyal Toyota Vios. That means free transpo. We went to Juan Luna St. to look for the required book then to C&E along Sta. Ana.

HUNGRY!
We had lunch at Mandarin G-Mall branch. I ordered Beef Brisket Rice since no Pork Asado Rice. After lunch Tine and I got ourselves ZAGU! Yum yum! Hazelnut Cappucino.

FREE TRANSPO
After lunch Tine and I headed home. I got free transpo up to Bangkal. I was dropped off at Kookel's Restaurant in Bangkal and took another Php7 -worth Jeepney ride to Gulf View.

My Pinning Journey Day 1

Day 1
Finally! My Compre Exam day. Something I've been waiting for a year! I was so excited to wear my new sewed uniform that I woke up at 5:00am today. I groomed myself well. I wanna look really good on my nursing unifrom. Wearing my new nursing uniform (the old one didn't fit me anymore) after a few months, felt like the first time I used my old one. I felt so proud.

My Type C uniform paired with
my Stace Adams Leather Shoes

I took a Php110- worth taxi (aircon) to school. I went up to the Nursing Division @ the 4th floor of the Thibault building. I was looking for the schedule and location of the exam. Tine and the others waited for me at the Roxas benches. I saw a few of my friends at Roxas. Pamie, Ymer, Karen and other 3A people were going to a beach outing with the whole class. I was jealous but that wasn't important. The exam was more important than that. So at around 8am, everyone in white gathered at the Ateneo Jacinto Gym for the Capping, Pinning and Candle Light (CPCL) ceremony orientation. I sat with Amir Lacambra, a classmate from my freshmen years. I was to take the exam on his section. The orientation didn't took so long. Maybe about 15 - 20 mins. The C.I. explaining wasn't so clear about what she was talking. After the orientation we were adviced to go to our respective rooms to study coz we still have a few more minutes before the exam.

EXAM TIME
Ms. Marcelo entered the room carrying the test papers and questionaires. We payed Php22 for the test papers. They're using special test answer sheet for this kind of exams. I guess that's why it cost that much. It took me an hour and fifteen minutes to finish a supposed 3-hour exam. It wasn't so hard. All that i learned from my previous years just appeared in front of me thus helping me answer the exam.

UPSET STOMACH
Up until now, I still have that drinking hang over. Hard drink is bad for the health! It's been 2 days that my tummy's upset. No wonder they call drunks, "pala-igit". LOL. I was actually trying to control my sphincter the whole time, even before I arrived at school.

A HOLE IN MY PANTS
Unbelievable! And I was expecting the day to be perfect. but no!! Addition to my upset stomach was a hole in my pants. It was under my crotch in my left thigh. It wasn't big. Just a small hole. Karen saw it first. Of course, as defense mechanism, i told them that i was going to have it repaired after the exam. That i even brought extra pants to use.

PLANNING A "DATE" with VAIDEN
The original plan was Saturday, but it never happened. I was to treat Vaiden to a movie. I thought maybe today, she's available. I asked her and she agreed but just for lunch. She was scheduled to go home to Tandag today. So I cancelled. She felt bad but I wasn't feeling better. I had to take care of my upset stomach.

My Blackberry Bold: Good as New

Blackberry for me is the best phone there is. I've seen celebrities like Kris Aquino, Sam Milby, and John Prats having the same phone as mine. But my phone has been acting weird lately. The loading icon keeps on appearing every time i try to move my trackball from one application to another. I deleted my songs and photos coz I thought it might be problem with the memory. But it wasn't. I still couldn't figure out what my phone's problem. I searched the net for a service center in the Philippines, unfortunately, there's none. And I found out that only GLOBE NETWORK is exclusively distributing Blackberry smartphones in the Philippines. Hahaha!!! To think the celebrities mentioned above were/are endorsers of SMART Telecom. LOL. Blackberry is just irresistably cool!

Anyway, on topic. I kinda explored further my phone. I went to Applications, Firewall Settings, etc. Those things didn't work. Until I decided to click the MEMORY CLEANING application. It asked for a password, so I gave one. The memory cleaning thing says that when I lock my phone, or put it on its holster, it will start cleaning the memory. I tried it but it didn't work. I turned it off and turned it on again. I waited for like 5 mins to have it turned on. So when the phone lit up, it was good as new. It's again fast loading like what the manual said. I'm happy!!! :D

Is It Possible To Fly?

Have you ever thought of Flying?
Do you even believe man could fly?

Watch this:

I saw this vid from my sister's blog.
I was astound to see those guys in the video flying thru mountains
and cliffs using fly suits. It looks dangerous but I want to try it in the future, that's for sure.
Oh I wish everyone could do that.

Decluttering my Space

I once heard Oprah saying, "Decluttering your space means decluttering your life." Something like that. I need to declutter my life with uneccessary things. So I started cleaning my room. Let's see if it works. Let's see if i could concentrate more on things with a clean and organized room.

The bed that was once full of other things is now just a bed
the favorite hotdog pillow is at the center

My mini-altar with some of my pictures

My study table is now clean.
Before it was full of unecessary things

My mini lounging area.
Complete with foot rest.
Ahh.. Talking about having to relax!
