Ehem! Corruption starts at School
Yesterday, we were invited by our theology teacher to attend a forum about corruption. I'm never really a fan of such gatherings coz I always think forums are boring. But my teacher was bribing us with additional points just to attend the forum. When I got there, it was about to start. Well, it was actually starting. I was seated in front of the guy i hate the most at the moment in the classroom. I wasn't feeling good about it. So instead of talking to the people behind me, I had my attention to the speaker. I was a little surprised... OK. Shocked. Because it was Fr. Albert Alejo, SJ was going to be the guest speaker. I always find that guy amazing. Not only is he appearing from one of the top television program in the Phil. every morning, he's a great priest.
So instead of getting bored, I was motivated to listen. He's a great speaker by the way.
There he was. Telling us about telling the truth. His lecture was about the corruption happening in the Phil. He was urging the students present to make a change to the society by telling the truth. Because, our corrupt government officials usually comes from schools like Ateneo, La Salle, etc. So he wants change. I guess he's right. He was telling us a story about his experience in Japan. That was like a stab straight to the heart for me. He said, when he was in Japan, he was able to sneak out and went to some missionaries. He asked them if they were OK and these missionaries told him that it was OK with a slight problem. What is the problem? he asked. The missionaries said, "Some Japanese told us. What's good in converting to Christianity when we see your country as the number 1 Catholic Country in SEA and the number 1 most corrupt country in SEA?" These words were really a shocker to me. Yes, it's true that the Phil. is on the top of the most corrupt country in SEA.

Just a Hi
We usually get hugs & kisses from our friends and hi & hellos from our acquitances.
Today, i got a little disappointed. for so long, i haven't seen this girl. I was dreading on seeing her because
i thought i missed her. today, i saw her. where? at the school library. i first saw her boyfriend.
then i got a hint that she's there. i saw her.
i looked at her hoping she'd see me. she saw me. and just waved.
never her typical greeting. usually, when she sees one of our common friends (cloud 9) she'd usually
run and give them hugs and sometimes kisses. but in my case, she just waves her hand and go on. as if i was just someone
from one of her classes.
too bad. i used to have a big crush on her.
i guess for those whose reading this (and probably she's one of you) you know who you are.
right?
i'm so disappointed.
i dun wanna blame the guys she's with, but i just can't help it.
i blame the guy she's with. he took her from us...
i guess i was the friend she never wanted. crap!
