Caltex Experience
2 days ago, I made my choice. I chose to quit my job. I don't even know if it was even considered a job or a past time. I've thought about it on the last weeks of December. I thought it was enough experience for a teenager like me. Besides, I've got lots to learn in the future. But even though I decided to quit, I will always remember all the good and "bad" experiences I had with my job and the people.
October 2008
I arrived in Frisco around late October. Mom and Tito Jer offered me work. Mom in our store and Tito Jer in Caltex. They promised to give me a salary. Mom was competing with what tito Jer is going to give me. It was really hard who to choose. Mom was being herself when I picked tito Jer's offer.
NOVEMBER 2008
On my first day, I was excited that I really woke up so early to do it. I was pretty good on the first day. The people except Manette was really silent on me. I already knew Manette from before so it wasn't that hard to talk to her. On the 5th of November, i brought to work 2 of my cousins, Andree and Krishna. I gave my iPod to Krishna hoping that she would like to use it. At the end of the day, she told me that she left my iPod on the table. I wasn't sure if it was on the table on my office or the tables outside. When i checked my back that night, my iPod wasn't there anymore. The next few days it was getting really hard. And the job got a little more demanding. Well, the boss was much more demanding than anything else in that place. but really most of the time are spent in front of the computer. ROFL. Oh and i remember this month was minute maid month, meaning the whole month, I made minute maid my water.
DECEMBER 2008
This month was well, December. The Christmas month. I hosted my first party. my first Chrismas party. wasn't that grand but well at least made the people happy. This month, i lost my phone at Jolibee. placed it on my jacket pocket. then after a second, it was gone.
